The Samsung Galaxy A3 2017 edition sees the 2016 edition get some much needed enhancement to bring it up to date with current smartphones available today. Samsung have added an always-on display, this works by always showing the date/time and notifications, this means you don’t have to power on the phone to see this information and means you can save battery life.
The Galaxy A3 (2017) has a good sized 4.3 inch Super AMOLED touchscreen that has been made with Corning Gorilla Glass this protects the screen from those accidental knocks and bumps. The HD screen compliments the 13 megapixel camera which has some great features such as a geo-tagging, autofocus and an LED flash. There is also a front facing 8 megapixel camera which is great for selfies and video calling.
The Galaxy A3 comes in a choice of colours such as Black Sky, Gold Sand, Blue Mist Or Peach Cloud. It only has a 16GB of internal memory but this can be expanded by up to 256GB with the use of a microSD memory card.

There is a fingerprint reader allowing you to unlock your phone with just the use of your fingerprint, there is backup option of using a PIN code. The Samsung Galaxy S3 has a 2350 mAh battery which offers up to 17 hours to talk time, but heavier users will find they need to charge the phone a bit more often that they probably would have liked. One bonus feature is the phone is IP68 water resistant, this means the phone is water resistant for 30 minutes at a depth of 1.5 metres.
