The Bold 9780 is the latest handset to be released from BlackBerry in the Bold range, it runs the latest version of the BlackBerry operating system. It's a great handset offering a wide range or business orientated services matched with an equally impressive range of entertainment features.
GPS navigation has been fully integrated into the handset with the use of BlackBerry maps, the easy interface and trackpad or trackball makes navigating around the menus a walk in the park. Social network updates are delivered with ease into the palm of your hand. There is a built in media player capable of playing most music and video file types the expandable memory up to 32GB means you'll never be out of room to store your media, a 2GB card is provided to get you going.
The Bold 9780 will never slow you down with built in multitasking support allowing you to switch effortlessly between applications. I love my Blackberry Bold (I have it in white) I love the email functions and the social networking. The downside with the phone is that if you like to browse the internet alot this is not the phone to do it with. It can crash and you need to re-start your phone!

I love this phone. It is easy to use and reliable. The settings are easier to use than some other Blackberry phones. Better and easier to use than the iPhone, especially if you have a high volume of calls.

I think the phone keys are really good size and easy to press. The home screen is easily accessible and easy to use. However, it is frustrating when reading my emails there is no access to other mail folders besides the inbox for example it would be nice to read sent mail too.

At 1st, the thought of such a modern phone with so many extras daunted me! Admittedly, it did take some time to work my way around my new Blackberry, but eventually I got there. Safe to say I would have been this way with any new mobile!
I love the fact you can access facebook, however I do find that not all my notifications come through, in fact only about 25%. I love receiving my emails thought and have never had problems with this at all. I hate small phones that will shatter if you drop them - with children you need something a bit more hardcore that will take a bash - and this doesn't disappoint where this is concerned!
I do find on occasions there is a lag on the phone, and it pauses for a while which can be frustrating when you're trying to make a quick call. Something that Blackberry definitely has to consider with their next model, I have several friends who experience the same. As my friends and partner own Blackberrys, BBM is fab! A definite bonus for me from Blackberry.
I love the fact it isn't a touch screen, and the QWERTY keypad digits are large enough to type quick. Some QWERTY keypads can be so small it is hard to type without pressing 2 buttons at once. My partner has large fingers, and this is one thing he loves about the Blackberry.

It's a great phone; with access to amazing free and paid applications... you can write documents and create to-do lists which I find really useful. The phone has a fast internet browsing and an easy-to-use interface.
It does sometimes crash and I’ve only had it under a year... The battery icon isn't very accurate, as sometimes it appears to show that I have a bit of battery left but then when I try to make a call it turns off without a warning that I was that low on battery.
