The Satio is the latest offering from Sony Ericsson. Like most mobile manufacturers, cut-backs have meant that Sony Ericsson have been producing very few handsets recently, so does the Satio live up to it's heritage of big camera and multi-media handsets?
The Satio certainly looks the part, with it's massive 3.5 inch touch screen covering the front and just a sliding protective cover on the back to keep the camera lens clear of sharp objects. The Satio is a clean and professional looking handset, which is fine, but we expect a Sony Ericsson creation to be a bold statement! We want an orange and pink phone with bizarre nobly bits or even just a flip down keyboard! Granted, you can tell it is a Sony Ericsson, but it doesn't scream it at you!
The main selling point of the handset has to be its massive 12 megapixel camera, which dwarfs any camera-phone offering already on the market. This means that you can take SLR quality pictures with your phone! Great for any budding photographer, or even just to capture those facebook moments. Of course being a Sony Ericsson the Satio has been given the ability to play any kind of media files that Sony Ericsson could get their hands on! And along with Bluetooth AD2P this means that you can stream your music direct to an assortment of compatable devices such as headphones and stereos.
