Sony Ericsson W890i Reviews

The W890i has a 3.15 megapixel camera with video recording capabilities at 15 fps. There is also a secondary camera located on the front of the phone this is primarily used for video calling. As well as 3G (Video calling) the W890i supports HSDPA for fast internet & email access. Whilst on the subject of connectivity the phone has Bluetooth with A2DP technology. This allows you to listen to music wirelessly via a set of Bluetooth stereo headphones. The W890i also has USB 2.0 for fast connectivity to your computer, allowing you to quickly transfer music and files.

Music plays a big part of the W890i, being part of the Walkman family and all. This means it has the latest Walkman software built in. Allowing you to listen to music on the move. It also allows you to sort your music much like an iPod. Allowing you to view your music, via track, artist name and playlists. The W890i also has Sony Ericssons trademark feature, TrackID. This is their music recognition software which allows you to get the artist and track name purely by playing a sample of music at the phone.

There is plenty of memory to store all your media, as not only has the phone got a memory card slot. But Sony Ericsson have also included a 2GB card in the box allowing you to maximize the potential of your phone from the word go.

"What a super phone its slim, and lightweight! It has loads of features and most importantly its reliable. My only gripe would be that the back button has been moved making it difficult for those Sony Ericsson lovers! Saying that im slowly getting use to it!"

"The signal drops constantly leaving me with "Emergency calls only" on the screen. The camera does not have auto focus so it's quite difficult to take good photos with it. Walkman functionality is good but can't make up for the fact that you can never get a signal. I've gone back "

"This is the worst phone I've ever had. The battery life is poor, and the paint on the buttons came off not long after I had it. You can't change the colours on the themes, and the choice of themes is not good. It's completely put me off Sony Ericsson phones."
