The Sony Ericsson Elm is another handset from Sony Ericssons GreenHeart range of phones, which is a collection of phones that have designed around people who want to do their bit to help the environment. As such as the Elm is free from harzedous chemicals and has been made from recycled plastics! You also recieve a low power consumption charger, a computer version of the manual and reduced packagaging. Sony Ericsson have also added some applications to the phone to help you be even more evironmental concisou, such as such as WalkMate and a CO2 Calculator. WalkMate helps you make a greener choice by showing you the CO2 reduction of the steps you take, versus the same distance driven by car.
In terms of the functionality of the phone, the Elm has a 5 megapixel camera with auto focus, an LED flash, face and smile detection, as well as Geo-tagging. Geo-tagging simply adds the location of where your photos were taken to the image file so that you can then see all the locations on a easy to read map! There is a built in web browser allowing you surf the net using Wi-Fi or HSDPA for a super fast connection. The Sony Ericsson Elm also has some Sony Ericsson applications built in such as SensMe and TrackID, TrackID returns the track and artist name of any music you play to it. The phone also has easy access to your social netowrking sites, and comes with 280Mb of internal memory, This can be expanded to up 8Gb with the use of a microSD memory card!

It's not a bad phone, picture quality is good with its 5.0 megapixel camera. Sound is good and the MP3 player is as standard a custom to sony ericsson phones. Dont really use it except for calls, music and photos so not much else to say!

Lovely functionality with a good quality camera. Internet browser a bit basic, but otherwise an excellent all rounder that feels well constructed.
