Our view:
The Cedar is a handset from Sony Ericsson's new range of GreenHeart phones. These handsets have been designed with environment friendly techniques and methods at the forefront of its design. Such as by using recycled plastics in their productions method, reducing the amount of packing that the phone comes and supplying you with a green charger that provides an Energy Star rating of V. They have also given the phone a few nifty eco applications such as WalkMate, EcoMate and Eco Calculator. WalkMate helps you make a greener choice by showing you the CO2 reduction of the steps you take, versus the same distance driven by car.
Whilst the phone has been designed around being eco friendly, Sony Ericsson haven't skimped on the features of the cedar. Now it's no smart phone but offers a wide range of features for a mid entry level handset and the price reflects this. The Cedar has been fully integrated with Facebook, MySpace and Twitter applications allowing you to keep in touch with your social network buddies on the move. There is large 2.2 inch TFT screen great for showing off your images that you have taken on the phones 2 megapixel camera, that is capable of video recording, video calling and even tags your photo with the location of where they were taken. ...

The phone has 3G HSDPA for super fast internet browsing on the move, a multi media player capable of playing most types of music and video. The phone has an internal memory of 280MB, this isn't much but it is upgradable to 16GB with the use of a microSD memory card. There is an FM Radio, YouTube integration and Bluetooth.

Maybe this phone isn't as good as the iPhone so I'm not going to tell you it is.. but it's reliable, secure and the best thing is that, it's never gone faulty!
