Our view:
The Samsung i900 Omnia is a state of the art mobile phone running Windows Mobile 6.1 Pro. It's packed full of features, with a 5 mega pixel camera with auto focus, image stabiliser, video recorder and flash technology. There is a secondary camera located on the front of the phone; this is primarily used for video calling.
The i900 has Wi-Fi for fast internet access when near one of the many UK hot spots. The phone also has HSDPA for internet speeds of up 7.2 Mbps, whilst out and about! There is also Bluetooth for wireless connectivity to another Bluetooth phone or device. The phone comes in two versions one with 8GB internal memory and the other with 16GB of memory. Like to listen to music? With the storage available on this phone, it makes it great to listen to music on. There is a built in music player capable of playing MP3/AAC/AAC+/WMA file types of music. There is also a FM Radio and a DivX & MP4 video player and TV Output so you can watch your videos back on your TV.

The phone heats up and the battery life is not very good .
No mapping software installed and gps will not work with tomtom

The phone looks great, but it tries to do too much, so in the end it does nothing well. It overheats, contacts list difficult to use, Qwerty keypad trustrating to use, the list goes on.....
Basically it makes the Sony Ericsson P990i seem like a work of art.
Do not buy or even accept it as a gift.

I'm not what people are complaining about! I loves the phone, it puts the Apple iPhone to shame. The Windows Mobile operating system is working great for me so far. Very impressed with the battery life too!

It is one of the best touch screen phones I had ever used. It has a brilliant 5 megapixel camera which is very clear!! DEFINATELY MUCH BETTER than the Apple iPhone. Up to individual preferences if you want to buy!

Excel does not work with even the simplest of functions although they are there. I cannot get Vlookup to work at all.
