The handset pulls together all of your contact's information, communications and online calenders to allow to find the information you need without searching for it. If your the person in the group responsible for planning the get together, this is the handset for you!
Palm have done a cracking job of making the Pre really stand out from the crowd. The handset is small enough to rest within your palm (thus the name!) when using the touch screen, but when using the keypad it is large enough not to feel like it is falling through your fingers. It's stylish and unobtrusive too. We can't see how anyone could genuinely dislike the Palm Pre (Unless they were jealous of course!)
There is only one downside to the device, it tries too hard to be an Apple iPhone. If you want a device that can run every “app” known to man, go for the iPhone, but if you want an ultra-swanky device that is fun to use then go for the Pre.

The Palm Pre is perhaps not as well known as the iPhone, or various Android phones. However, it's a joy to use. A proper keyboard makes it far nicer to use for long periods. It's not too big, and yet the screen is still very usable. All the built-in applications sync with Google, so calendar, mail etc. can be shared with a laptop. Oh, and it makes phone calls too.

The Palm Pre is an amazing peice of technology. I use it mostly for internet use and its incredibly fast it updates it self and you can have several applications open at once just by pressing the middle button, then chosing an app you are finnished with and holding your finger on the screen and dragging the app off the top of the screen. This will close the app I would highly recommend this phone to any one with a life just dont drop it in the bath like i did :(
