The Nokia N96 is a dual slide Nokia handset with an amazing range of features. It looks like the Nokia N81 has been crossed with the Nokia N95, and we are loving the result.
For starters the screen has a massive 16 Million colours and is 2.8 inches big! Great for most of the features contained within this phone. Such as the awesome 5 megapixel camera which features Carl Zeiss optics, autofocus, flash and video recording capabilities! There is also a secondary camera located on the front of the phone this is primarily used for video calling. Once you have taken your images and videos you can then watch them back on your own TV by using the phones built in TV Out port! Talking of televisions the N96 also features a DVB-H TV broadcast receiver! When this feature gets allowed in the UK, you will have digital television on your mobile phone!
Much like the N95, the N96 also has a built in GPS Receiver all that is required is a license to use Nokias software and you will then have Sat Nav on your mobile, no getting lost again. The biggest thing with the N96 is the large internal memory it has a whopping 16GB of internal memory! The most a phone has ever had and plenty to store all your media needs. There is also a slot for a microSD should you want more?
Other features of the Nokia N96 include; HSDPA for fast web surfing and data downloads, Wi-Fi for connection to a UK Hot Spot. There is a music player and a 3.5mm audio headphone jack allowing you to plug your own headphones into the handset. There is also a FM Radio with RDS and an office document viewer allowing you to view documents such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and PDF. And that's pretty much the N96 what more could you want from a phone? This truly is the best & well equipped multi media phone to date!
