Our view:
The 8800 Arte is another phone to be added to Nokias luxury collection of handsets. These handset generally come with a big price tag and are phones that generally say “Hey, Look at me!” They are elegant to look at and normally don't have the biggest array of features, however the arte does move the luxury collection forward giving it a nicer range of features and the added bonus of 3G.
To talk about the design first.. The phone comes in a durable stainless steel cover with a scratch-resistant glass. The 8800 Arte has a accelerometer which has recently been seen in phones such as the Apple iPhone & the Sony Ericsson K850i basically the phone knows when its been rotated on its side so that the screen moves that direction too. Nokia have developed this one stage further by adding a turn-to-mute feature. This means that if you had the phone down on your office desk and you received a call you didn't want to take or couldn't take simply turn the phone over and the call with be muted. Genius! ...

Like we said the phone has 3G capabilities, allowing you to make and receive video calls. The phone also has Bluetooth allowing you to wirelessly connect to another phone or device. There is a nice 3.15 Megapixel camera allowing you to take images in great quality the camera also features auto focus and the ability to record and playback video. The 8800 Arte also has a MP3 player allowing you to listen to your music on the move, there is also plenty of memory to store you media as Nokia have given the phone a generous 1GB of internal memory.

I have also had 8800 phones and this is the best so far. It still has the large price but it is the one with the most features and looks very good too. It definitely its a premium handset!
