Our view:
The 5800 Xpress Music is the new music phone sensation from Nokia featuring a wide range of features mainly aimed at the music lover. It wasn't a phone that Nokia released to be in direct competition of the Apple iPhone but its doing a good job of outselling it! A few reasons for this are; the fantastic pricing structure of the phone, you can get it free for just £15 a month! The other reason is the features on it are comparative to that of the iPhone and it's a Nokia. And the sound quality on this is amazing, so is the video quality! If you looking for a touch screen this is one not to be missed!
The phone has a large 3.2 inch touch screen with handwriting recognition and 16M colours, the quality and resolution of this phone are amazing! The screen is perfect for watching videos, either downloaded ones or ones that you have taken with the phones 3.15 mega pixel camera. The camera has a Carl Zeiss optics lens auto focus and a LED flash, the video records at 30 fps. As well as having a music player capable of playing MP3/WMA/WAV & eAAC+ file types of music there is a FM Radio and enough storage for you to hold a lot of music! The 5800 is available in three colours Black, Red/Black & Blue/Black. The phone also has a 3.5mm audio jack for easy use of any standard pair of headphones, there is a document viewer allowing you to view Word, Excel, PowerPoint and PDF documents. The phone supports 3G technology and has a video calling camera; it also supports HSDPA up to 3.6 Mbps. This allows you to plug your 5800 into your PC and use it as a modem!

This phone is good for people who are into their music, the media player is fantastic. Nice big screen, looks stylish as well. Option for memory card so you can store loads. Has wi-fi capabilities and connection to the internet is very good.

Love it, loads of extras apps etc you can add from the Ovi Store, mostly free! A good all round phone for using not only for music, but surfing net too.

I have the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic and this phone meets my everyday needs for phone calls & texting it has a good camera which takes very clear photographs, a good video which again can take some good videos, the music side of it is fantastic. The touch screen is simple, clear & easy to use, the annoying part of this otherwise great phone is the stylus which cannot be attached to the phone. This stylus can & often does fall out & becomes lost, although it is easy to find replacements for them. If Nokia had considered this then a simple adjustment to the design would have saved people from becoming annoyed.
Overall rating of this phone, in my opinion is 9/10!
