It goes back to basics using Nokias classic menu system that people love. There is a built in music player capable of playing most file types of music. There is Bluetooth for wireless connectivity to another Bluetooth phone or device. The 3109 includes office functionality such as email with attachments and syncs calendars and To-do lists with personal computers with the use of its USB connectivity.

The phone is also Tri-Band so will work in countries such as America and has battery life of up to 380 hours standby.
