So what is it all about? Like we mentioned its dubbed a facebook phone purely cos of the features that the phone has that have been built around facebook. You can poke, message and view status updates of your friends through your phonebook. There is a common inbox that stores text messages, photo messages, Skype messages and facebook messages, pokes and updates. The INQ also has Skype for FREE international calling to anyone else on Skype! You can also use the Skype application to call internal numbers via credit in your Skype account. The INQ 1 Phone also has Windows Live Messenger, a 3.2 megapixel camera a music player and you can also use it as a USB modem! It has a neat carousel switcher menu system that allows you to whiz through all your options at the bottom of the your screen with one simple touch of a button!

I am a bit of a gadget lover and was considering getting a Blackberry or a HTC. Unfortunately they were only with other networks and I was happy with 3 and could not be bothered to complicate my life by changing networks but try to keep hold of my mobile number.
So, eventually I saw the 200 minutes, unlimited text and internet access on the 3 network. This was perfect for me. It kept popping up that the INQ phone was ideal for this contract so I looked into it. I have to admit I am not a Facebook victim so wasn't at all bothered about that, but I read that the phone had good connectivity to the internet due to being designed for Facebook users. My main want for a mobile was getting my e-mails so thought I would give it a go. I have to say I have been pleasantly surprised. The phone doesn't look anything special but it feels well made and the keys are just right for my round fingers without the phone being too big.
I haven't used every application on the phone but their are plenty to cater for all social individuals, whether e-mailing, going on Facebook, MS Messenger etc. It is not an HTC or Blackberry but this is an alternative for those who want the social advantages of using an internet connection etc but don't want business like phones which are chunky and over complicated. As I say I am not a Facebook user so can't comment on it, but if it is as good as all the other applications then there should be no problems and remember this is the main reason for the phones design. I would like to have seen a normal internet screen like many of the touch screen phones are producing instead of a typical mobile internet screen, but this isn't a major problem. I am surprised that the word hasn't been passed between Facebook users that this phone is available, especially as 3 are providing contract deals to include unlimited (within reason - monthly usage far greater than that of any other provider) internet access.
