The HTC Desire HD can only be described as an attention seeker! From the first time you look at it you are intrigued to know what phone it is, and then you see the screen light up! That's it your hooked! The HD screen (as the name suggests), is bright and vivid and packs in 16M colours! It is perfect for your day to day phone use but its even better for watching videos, recording videos, taking pictures and surfing the web! And the list goes on.. Its not just the screen that the HTC Desire HD has going for it!
The Desire HD has a built in 8 Megapixel camera with autofocus, an LED flash and Geo-tagging and face detection! It even records video in HD quality 720p! Geo-tagging simple tags your photos with the location of where they were taken and then displays them on a map for you to see! The Desire HD has a media player capable of playing most file types of music of video you can even stream videos direct from YouTube! Your probably thinking that this would be "laggy" and slow but its not! The Desire HD has 3G HSDPA and Wi-Fi so whether your at home or out and about youll be able to get a super fast internet connection to stream videos and surf the net at super fast speeds! There are a range of built in applications to make your life easier, such as a Google Seach, Maps, Facebook and Twitter. All of which are pre installed and ready to go! The phone also has GPS navigation an FM Radio and an internal memory of 1.5Gb whhich is expandable up to 32Gb with the use of a microSD memory card! HTC have kindly included an 8Gb card in the box to get you started!

Fast with a big and beautiful screen. Best phone of 2010 and will no doubt will still be high on peoples want lists in 2011. Best phone I've ever had by far.

The first thing you notice is its size. It barely fits in your palm, but you get used to it!
The screen isn’t as sharp as some others out there, but the computing power and built in flash means it can do pretty much everything you want with the web browser.
The HD has everything you'd expect to find on an android phone. The one let down is the fact the camera doesn’t have a hard button to take a photo. Instead relying on the photographer pushing the screen.
The layout in all is nice, Could do with sprucing up a little with a faster Android operating system. That said. One year in and I am still enjoying this phone and it doesn’t feel old or out of date

Great features, fast processor, planty of free applications - this phone is generally great. A little bulky, maybe, but this is due to the large high quality screen. The only thing it falls down on is battery life - expect to charge it at least once a day (more with heavy use).

The HTC Desire HD is an absolute powerhouse of smartphones - running on the Android system with HTC Sense it fits seamlessly in with your daily life and social networks - friends contact details can be imported straight into your address book with one tap, and an even handier feature is that their birthdays will also be added into the calendar!
The phone is incredibly quick and easy to use, there's no stuttering like with other smartphones, and regular updates from Android and HTC mean that your phone will always be running at its best.
The battery life is a little bit of a disappointment, however you can make it last longer if you're sensible with the settings.
