I love this phone, the only downfall is that there is no flash on the camera! So if you want a phone that takes good photos in the dark this is not the one for you!!

The BlackBerry Curve is a pretty good phone. You can download hundreds of applications and themes which is good as you can play games and personalize your phone. You can access facebook, tumblr and twitter, share status updates, upload photos and chat to your friends. You can search the internet and have your email on your phone. You can text people for free with blackberry messenger and with a full keyboard it is easier to type! Although the internet can sometimes be quite slow and some people may find the keyboard too small, I would say the phone is overall very good!

A good phone that can carry out everything you need and more. My only complaint is that the keypad is a little small for adult size fingers and I would be tempted to go for a full touch screen phone in the future.

My BlackBerry has messed up a few times but it's really good still, you can view any website, you can think of, it's easy to use when you get used to it!

This phone is fast, brilliant at downloading, excellent access to Wi-Fi and very easy to use with the qwerty keyboard and a range of font sizes! It helps keep you organised and with many more people buying a blackberry you can keep in touch for free with BlackBerry Messenger! :D

Really good phone, robust and is well made so can withstand bumps and drops! Really easy to find accessories such as chargers, cases in the shops and online. Only problem I have is that BlackBerry phones need a special contract to allow you to use the internet & BlackBerry Messenger etc.

I loove my phone it is really easy to work and really hard to break but the battery life could be improved!

Great basic BlackBerry - does everything I need it to do for work. Can't fault it!

This is my first BlackBerry mobile and to be honest I was pretty much impressed. It's easy to put your music on it and it is very user friendly. I did find it quite difficult at the start to use the qwerty keyboard but have now managed to get quite good at it now. Overall I would recommend this phone as it looks cool and does what it says on the box.

I had a few early problems with the phone such as the phone randomly turning itself off and not being able to send or receive text messages or make calls. The problem seemed to work itself out and I have had no problems since. The phone is simple and straightforward to use and I got it free with a cheap contract. The Internet can be a bit slow but in general it is a good phone!

It is a very good phone that is brilliant for business and personal use. Would definitely recommend it as it is such an excellent phone! will definitely get another BlackBerry when my contract runs out!!

Its like it organised my life for me it has everything you could possibly need with the app store there is almost an application for everything! ;)

The BlackBerry Curve 8520 is useful but has small keypad buttons.

It always freezes and then turns it self off. Some times it wont even turn back on even while charging. However its very useful to have emails, facebook ect right in your hands.

Best phone ever bought for my husband, as he can leave work earlier as he can still access his emails and pretend he is still there. :)

Great starter BlackBerry. My first experience of a BlackBerry and I'm hooked!!! Wouldn't want anything else now!

I received this phone thinking it would be difficult to use as there are so many features and buttons on it but it wasn’t, I got to know the phone really easy as the navigation is perfectly shown and instructed, the screen is a perfect size and the buttons are not all too close together so you don’t press the wrong buttons as you would think you would , loved it perfect for me and anyone else needing a planner, app an all-round phone that is easy to use!

The Blackberry Curve is brilliant and easy to use. Would recommend to all, 5 Stars!

Very good phone, have had it for one year now, hasn’t let me down... well yet. I enjoy the keypad, very easy to use and love the instant messaging service. Only one problem I encounter is the long time it takes to load whenever you switch it on.

The Curve 8520 is pretty slow and the internet is slow. Everything else is fine.

The phone is average. When you first get it everyone is like "wow! Give me your blackberry messenger pin!" but after a while... It kind of wares off, you're stuck with 1500 contacts on blackberry messenger, and you're battery dying every 4 hours due to the frequent notifications of blackberry messenger, email, facebook, twitter, and every other app you've downloaded. There are some good apps though, and they're getting better and more hi-tech every single day.

My favourite app has to be the apps which allows you to change your font with more choices than the phone originally gives you! That's one thing that I like about the blackberry, there aren't many phones with such a wide variety of fonts or themes. I would only rate it a 3 because of the internet - but other than that it is good. I wouldn't recommend it, unless of course you never leave your house and sit by your charger day in day out, or aren't going to use it for the internet... But then again, the whole point of the blackberry is for the internet and email accessibility.

So, whilst the majority of my Facebook and twitter feed were recently in meltdown over the much publicised failings of the Blackberry Messenger service (which has thankfully been fixed now!), I still remain a loyal Blackberry fan. I just love this phone.

I guess the 'Curve' is considered to be old for a Blackberry these days - far trendier are the new 'Blackberry Bold's and 'Blackberry Torch's'. But the Blackberry Curve suites me just fine. It does everything I want it to and more and due to the fact that it's considered to be a fairly old model now, you can get very reasonable price plans for this model. A perfect Smartphone for those on a budget.

What do I love about it? Well it's very easy to use and well laid out. I love having access to the internet and my emails via my phone. And the QWERTY keyboard was a revelation to me when I first brought this phone - it makes it so much quicker and easier to type.

The Blackberry Messenger service saves me a fortune in terms of money that I would be spending on texts. It allows you to send free messages to other friends with Blackberry's, kind of like MSN messenger for phones.

The design is sleek, stylish and professional looking, which is probably why the Blackberry is still so popular in the business world.

Problems? Blackberry's unfortunately tend to have very poor battery life. I have to charge mine nearly every night and at least 4 or 5 times a week.

The camera isn't very good either – it's only 2mp and so often takes blurry images.

This phone has everything you will ever need so you never miss a thing.

I was unsure which mobile phone to choose and am very glad I chose BlackBerry. It is easy to use and typing text is really simple, unless you have big hands and fingers which may make it a bit harder. It has all the functions you will need and has a very good battery life.

Within the first week of buying the phone it started crashing & freezing & I had to take it back to the shop to be replaced. It wasn't long before the second handset started doing the same thing and it was freezing at least once a day and I had to remove the battery each time to get it back on again. The Blackberry application world icon disappeared off my phone but it wouldn't allow me to download it again as it said I already had it, but couldn't find it anywhere! I got fed up of it after 3 weeks of owning one and ended up buying an iPhone.

Good value but 3G is a little slow and the keys are quite small.

I love my phone & cannot live without it! I would recommend it but it does have its own problems as does every phone! Love it though!

I love the QWERTY keyboard and the immediate access to my emails. However, the internet connection is slow even when connected to Wi-Fi. The screen is small and the Facebook app is terrible!

This is a really good phone you would be really pleased with it. It has BlackBerry Messenger, a good clear screen, BlackBerry app world for lots of fun applications and it has a keyboard so you don’t get confused when you’re typing.

This phone is quite average, I had quite a bit of trouble setting the internet up with Orange, having to change settings around. It is quite sturdy though as I've dropped it a couple of times and still works fine. After it is all set up it is very easy to use and my emails come through quickly. More free themes would be good.

I have had the BlackBerry Curve for around 6 months however it broke very quickly and often froze. I liked the phone because of the simple BlackBerry messenger app. It is very easy to use, however sometimes the messages deliver very slowly.

The phone is very easy to use, with many additional features. However, it takes forever to access the internet and sometimes it can't find the network.

Great way to stay connected to friends, easy to use and light weight. The battery life is really good my lasted around 2 days of me using it constantly before it needed to charge. Overall great phone I would recommend it to anyone.
