Our view:
Behold the long awaited iPhone 4S, well actually we all thought it would be a completely new handset all together. But in fact it's a new phone but in the same shell as iPhone 4 just with the proximity sensor placed above the speaker. This was an addition Apple added to the iPhone 4 white to fix a bug. Least that's sorted?
So what have they done to the iPhone 4S to make you all run out and buy one? Well the phone now features an amazing 8 megapixel camera, but it's not just an upgrade to the amount of megapixels, they updated things like the optics to ensure you get a much better quality image. There is a large f/2.4 aperture, this lets in more light so your photos will look bright and much better. Also you can now capture an image in 1.1 seconds making it the fastest camera phone on the market! You can even capture a second shot in 0.5 seconds, that's quick! Not forgetting other features such as touch focus, geo-tagging and face detection. Once you are done taking all of your photos you can even edit them direct on the phone, removing red-eye, crop, enhance. The processer in the iPhone 4S has now been upgraded to be the same as the one in the iPad 2, so it is now has a dual core processer and some claim that it will be up to 68% times faster than the iPhone 4! Now that's quick! The battery has been updated to give you 8 hours of talk time rather than 7 hours in the iPhone 4, but I don't think that's enough that you will notice a different or at least buy one just based on that.
There is also a new built in application called Siri which effectively is a voice controlled app with a difference, it will allow you to reply to text messages just by speaking your instructions to it and ask it things like "what will the weather be like today in London" and Siri will return you the weather forecast for London. It's a great application and one that will probably be used by alot of users!
Not forgetting the other features as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth an Email client that allows you to send and receive emails on the move. Access to the app store which contains thousands of applications for fun or business. Overall it's a great phone and a good successor to the iPhone 4. Can't wait to see what will be in store for the iPhone 5, if there is one?

Having got the iPhone 4 early on I was due an upgrade when the iPhone 4S was released. Which I took, and it's great. The phone is unchanged in terms of specifications but the processor was upgraded making the phone noticeably quicker. The camera is also a lot better with the new lens they added in.
The only gripe is that the battery life isn't great and even with the latest update of the software it still doesn't perform like the iPhone 4 did.

Very good phone that does what it says on the box, and you can make calls too :p Siri is not a lot of good in UK as it is more USA orientated but still good fun and you can ask him lots of silly questions to which you may get silly answers lol

Marvellous device, fast and easy to use. Stunning camera and video. Siri is an added bonus and the clarity of screen superb. The phone feels nice to hold and a superior sound quality. The iPhone 4 S is the best phone on the market, worth the cost!

This is the first Apple product I have tried and now I see why they have such a loyal following. It is really easy to use! After working out how to insert the sim card everything was really simple. No need for an instruction book.

I've always refused to get an iPhone as I thought they were just a fashion accessory. However, after everyone waxing lyrical about them I relented and purchased one. It is, without doubt, better than all my previous phones put together. It works flawlessly. Everything you could think of to make usability easier has already been thought of. It's stylish, sleek, and it works. The only downside I have is the battery life, but to be fair, I use this phone more than any phone I've used before. I think it's probably doing it a injustice to just call it a phone. It is an entertainment centre, A multimedia centre. In fact, it's a lifestyle centre.
I can't believe I waited so long to get an iPhone. They truly are a work of genius.

Plus points - A nice phone & the touch screen is great, the app store is easy to use & the basic functions of the phone can be learnt very quickly & the camera is fantastic!
Negative points - The battery is terrible and runs down very quickly. You will find yourself constantly cleaning the screen from sticky fingers and the cost is, in my opinion to high just for a phone.
