The long awaited Mobile Skype phone is here! The phone allows you to make and receive calls via Skype. The phone will only be available on the "3" Mobile Network and they allow you to make 4000 FREE minutes a month via Skype. As it connects via the internet you have to be in the UK to use it or one of "3" Networks abroad (Australia, Austria, Denmark, Hong Kong, Italy, Ireland, Macau and Sweden). You can also send free Skype Instant messages to other Skype Users. But don't worry it also features all the functionality of a standard mobile.

The only down side to the Skype Phone is that it doesn't support the Skype Out service, so you cant make cheap long distance calls via your Skype account.

I was quite reserved about the ability to get free calls via skype on my mobile, so i decided to try it and I shouldnt have doubted it the software on the phone is a breeze to use and allows me to speak to my family around the world for free.
